Complete newbie question here. I'm learning the banjo and want to basically record my progress. A friend set me up with an SM57 mike and Line 6 tone port. The software with that is gearbox. All set up ok,the port is picking up the 'noise' I make on the banjo but for the life of me I can't figure out how to record on this thing. No record button,no start here button.I've read the guide, tells of how to do everything but basically record. The attachment is a screenie of what I'm looking at,any help greatly appreciated.

gearbox isnt recording software, its just for sound.

as far as i can remember, i got a copy of ableton live lite with my toneport ages ago.
you'll need to get some other software such as ableton or cubase.

the recording software will recognise gearbox and you can record and edit your music then.
