    Hows it going?

Doing a bit of painting in the house and got a bit of paint on the spotlights (the ring around them, think its aliminium?) and was just wondering how to get the paint of without dis-colouring them?

    Thanks:)

Assuming it's ordinary white emulsion, get one of those little green pot scourers, wet it a little and rub the paint off gently. Probably best to trun off the light(s) when you do this and let the metal cool. If it's still not shifting try something with an edge (blade, scraper etc) but be gentle.
