    hi all!
was at the game yesterday eve and I have to say I thought it was going to be the same ol same ol up to half time where we were very much second best and the score was 3-10 to the dragons.
I said to myself "here we go again" but wait the boys game out like they had a rocket under their ass(e)s!
free-flowing rugby side to side cut the dragons open with 2 tries in quick succession followed on by another soon after.
Jeez I couldn't believe my eyes as I had to pinch myself as i couldnt believe it!!!
    WE NEVER PLAY LIKE THIS!
Anyway I dont know what was said at half time but it worked.
It was about 15mins to go and I was looking for a bonus point to put as much pressure as possible on the dragons in the remaining games.
    I was not dissapointed!
Dragons were down on out and Niva Ta-aouso was pulling the strings in the centre.
Two more tries followed and we were over the moon.
39-10 not bad in keeping the dragons scorless right up to fulltime when they got over a concellation score.
Final result Connacht 39 Dragons 17.
    great performance from the boys!
I want (like the rest of the province) to see much more of this, not just the odd win against derby provinces!

Great result - I couldn't believe it when I heard it on the radio this morning as it was 10-3 to Dragons when I caught a snatch of it last night on Newstalk.

Another great day looms in the West today - Come on Munster!!!!!

Was at the game as well, in fairness both teams were appalling in the first half, as was the referee (gave a BS penalty against Connacht for collapsing an attacking scrum 5m from the Dragons line, one of many howlers).
Second half was super stuff, Dragons couldn't deal with the increased tempo, first try was an excellent score with a great break and offload by Ta'auso to Duffy who took a superb line at speed to crack open the defence.
Dragons gave up after about 60 mins, so the bonus point was always coming, and Connacht took their foot off the gas in the last 5 to concede the consolation try, but the way they came out and upped the tempo after half time was very encouraging.
That Dragons team is very poor (even worse than us! :o ) so I'm very disappointed the way the season has gone that we aren't ahead of them in the ML. Inconsistency has been our biggest fault this year.
Keatley was excellent last night, his tactical kicking pinned the Dragons back in their own half, he only missed one kick at goal (I think) from out on the touchline, and he got the backline moving well. Great to see him back playing well. Ta'auso was good too and asked a lot of questions the Dragons couldn't answer.

Dragons were very poor last night. Fair ****s the Connacht though. Lets hope to see a few more good results like this before the end of the season
