It also so happens to be everything you were already taught in junior cert about the environment. Which makes me wonder wtf people are being taught over here in between creationism and drivers ed. Al Gore is a lying cnut. The water level has not risen at all over the last 50 years. The sample where water level was rising was taken from 1 location only, Hong Kong, for just a short number of years. and there has been no rise there since 2003.

Al Gore is a bollix. The Earth is just going through it's natural cycle as it has done a number of times before.

Yes it is very possible that the earth is going through a cycle but that theory is not more believable than the Global Warming nut huggers. We cannot compare what is going on now against the last cycle as there is no data.

When dudes start coming on here calling people "liars" and "bollix" it does nothing but drag an interesting debate into the gutter.

What I find amusing is the guys who buy into the cycle theory seem to have this superiority complex on the subject :rolleyes:

Even if global warming isn't true, would you not benefit from being more eco-friendly? Turning off lights, don't leave electronics on all save money on the electricity bill. Taking vacations closer to where you live is less expensive to get to than one far away. Insulating your house saves money on the heating bill. Eating more greens rather than nothing but meat or fast food is more beneficial than wallowing in your own filth.
If it doesn't help the enviroment, at least it helps you

There is data that links most of earths climate change to sun spots.

What they should do instead of focusing on this smoke screen of CO2, a natural gas. Is to focus on all the really harmful chemicals and pollutants being released into the environment by farms and factory's and do more to prevent land fill by stopping company's putting their products into stupid amounts of packaging.
