I wonder if anyone can help me with this. Just bought an SB600 off eBay (I know, I know lol!), and the info. in the rear display constantly flashes (excuse the pun) on and off. Now the flashgun works fine, it's more of an annoyance than anything else. Any ideas?

    from another source:
try resetting the sb600 by pushing "on/off" and "mode" buttons simultaneously for several seconds.

Thanks, but I tried that and it didn't work. I also tried putting new batteries in the flashgun whilst it was still switched on, to reset the computer, but that didn't work either. Any other thoughts?

Is the whole screen going on & off or just certain bits?

That sounds like an electronic fault to me.

You've actually just confirmed what I was thinking but didn't want to admit it lol! Thanks very much for your time, appreciate it. :)

How was the Flash described on the Bay?

You may have a claim if the goods were sold as being in good order. Contact the seller first & if they do not do the right thing then you can register a dispute.
