You'd get a 2005 S-line 2.0TDI for that kinda money in the UK - 1.9 SE's are hard to shift....

Everything is hard to shift. Just because it has an S line badge on the side of it doesnt make it any easier to sell. Its still an Audi A4 at the end of the day.

    I'd go for the Audi.

Wouldn't be gone on any of them, Audi is under powered for its size and looks dodgy, Avensis is grand but your right colour is crap, Passat looks good.

Me I would be looking at Octavia VRS/Accord, Mondeo and 320D as well.

170bhp Octavia is great to drive

Accord, like all Honda's is brillant.

Mondeo's are the best kept secret diesel on the road, cheap 2nd hand, almost bulletproof engines and great to drive.

I'd go with the A4 but if I were you and if I had no trade in I would be going to UK and pick up a nice 2.0TDI.

Do plenty of research prior to going though

I know 5-6 people who have bought an 05/06 A4 in the last 6 months (myself included) who would not even look at an 1.9 SE, mainly because of the engine but also the SE looks so dull compared to the S-line it's not even funny. The suspension is worlds apart also.

Looks a good price for under 8K with only 75K on the clock. Nice colour as well. Am I missing anything?

What's the difference between an A4 s-line and SE?
