Not meant like that, I'm disgusted at the way she behaved as if these children were puppies, she brought along with her other children Lourdes (12) Rocco (8) to pick a nice orphan.

Just keep collecting for now and then send away to Unicef at the end for the ones she's missing.

If she doesn't meet the criteria for adoption in that country, then why should she be treated any differently. Then again whoever she adopts would see their life change exponentially so it is a double edged sword, by denying the adoption the child will probably grow up in his/her own country without all the benefit and trappings of the west. I feel sorry for the kid more so especially now if it does not get the go ahead as their hopes will be dashed.

I feel happy for the kid. He is probably better off where is than in the media circus that is Madonna's life

I'm delighted it was denied - it really does seem like as if she is shopping for puppies or a nice piece of jewellery. It reeks of something from the 19th century, go get the nice little foreign kid, and raise him up speaking the Queen's english. Very, very odd behaviour.

They are lots of things she could do to help the kids of Malawi, that don't involve taking them out of their own culture, and into a complete strange new one.

I thought the child was female?

She only wanted another one to hold up the books at the other end of the shelf, because her adopted lad couldn't be in two places at once.

if she really gave 2 ****es about african orphans she would sponsor kids or support an orphanage or something. why take kids away from their country and culture?just so she can be seen looking "oh so angelina" with a little african child on her hip. i don't for one second believe she has their best interests at heart.

What is the best for child? To live happy inside family... To have mother and father... Not another father every few years as mrs ciccione used to do, she changed quite few so far... Will that child be bit more happy with at least mother? Might be yes but there are few questions like: mummy why you are so white and I am so black? If that spoiled rich primadona want really help them she should rebuild that their orphanage or cover their expences for say next hundred years or so. She will do much better for more children doing this instead of showing herself as loving supermother... All bullsh*t and media circus...

to be honest am just so sick and tired of the whole celebrity adopting the world - its like they think its a fashion trend with angelina meg ryan jodie foster bleeping madonna - i wouldnt mind if they couldnt have children fair enough - the point when you adopt a child aswell is that they fit into the established family that they are going into eg: angelina and brad should have adopted caucation children so there is none of this worldly prejudice placed on the child and they find the transition easier - this is not racist its just common sence as they child gets older they dont want to feel different from other family members etc or at least that used to be the criterium.

ah celebrities they are from another planet in my view they have a totally unrealistic view of the world they think if they click the fingers they just get get get what they want or sulk till they get it or wave the millions round...

i do have to ask why they have objected this time - how the hell did she get away with adopting david banda if they dont allow outside people to adopt

    Source Wenn
Madonna has won her battle to adopt Malawian toddler Mercy James - after the African country's high court praised her efforts to improve life for local children.

The Material Girl launched a legal battle to adopt Mercy in April but her bid was rejected on the grounds that prospective parents have to be resident in the country for 18 to 24 months prior to an adoption.

But the star was given the green light by judges on Friday to legally adopt the four year old after the rejection was overturned.

Chief Justice Lovemore Munlo told the court the star's commitment to the children of Malawi should be recognised after announcing his decision.

Madonna adopted Malawian-born David Banda in 2006, amid criticisms she side-stepped the country's adoption laws. The star also has two biological children - Lourdes, 12, and Rocco, eight.

children are fast becoming like bread on a shelf to celebrities - they fancy a loaf they just go out and buy one just like madonna and these children i want mercy ill have mercy to the woman who doesnt take no very lightly - i would say more than a few envelopes past hands on this one..

they make me so mad celebrities and adoption - yes they can give monatery objects and a brighter future but love is priceless and i just feel madonna just wants press constant press - she is always working and doing inappropriate things as a woman with children - the decision should have been upheld and no meaning no..
