Hairdressing Models?

    Hey
Just wondering if anyone knows of hairdressers in Dublin that you can get cuts and colours for cheaper by being a model and letting students work on you?
And if they do what you ask them or what they want to do?
Do you need to make appointments or can you walk in off the street?

Sorry for all the questions, I made a disaster of my hair and I dont want to spend a fortune again so Im just looking for a cheaper alternative.

    Thanks in advance :)

    R

i think usually if you get your haircut as a model youve to go with the style that the hairdresser is learning/practicing/getting tested on.

i think you do pay, but its a reduced cost.

i got my hair cut in toni & guy as a model once, & it was free because it was a last minute thing, they were really stuck for models & literally dragged me in off the street. the whole thing took about 3 hrs for a cut, the hair dresser was quite slow as he was still learning. he was quite good but some bits were slightly off & his supervisor tidied it up when he was finished. i actually loved it in the end though, one of the best haircuts ive ever gotten, but ive heard horror stories.
