Works ok - but depending on the colour of your car it does leave streaks. they say black is a nightmare with it. Plus as its so clear you dont even see were you have applied it so its hard to see what areas need extra buffing.

I've tried loads of different waxes and the best stuff you can get is anything that has 'carnauba wax' in it. Leaves the best shine.

I use this stuff all the time and buff it with a nice soft towel. works great.

Also if your looking for a great shine, use a clay bar after you wash it. Simply buy a pack of blu-tack mould it into a pad in ur hand and run it over your soapy car. it picks up so much dirt its hard to believe even after a good wash.

I've heard it does not last very long, but handy that you can use it on everything.

Never thought of using Blu-tack as a clay bar! Does that actually work? What do you use as a lubricant? I guess wd40 would work actually!

I have a bottle of it and its been used to cover a couple of cars about 10 times and the bottle is still full as you only have to use a drop on the pad. But if you mean lasting on the paint, I think it ok..having said that I wax every two weeks or so

    the car that is..

    noooo! dont use WD40!
I happened to have detail spray lying around and thats what is supposed to be used. That or just soapy paintwork is fine.

Yes blu tak was what the first guy used before selling it as a 'clay-bar'. works exactly the same :)

I use it on orient blue and its pretty good, its great not having to avoid bumper strips and the like, you can just rub it over everything except glass. I think its best to use it in warm weather though, i used it recently in the cold and i could not buff it no matter how hard I tried, it just left dark streaks all over the place.

I used it on Tuesday there in the sun and it polishes to a shine in seconds.

    Ah it's handy all rite.
I used it on my car - blue - on one of our rare sunny days and it gave a great shine.
Any you use very little, which is handy...

There is far better polishes out there that are easier to use, give better results and cost similar money. If you're looking only at Halfords; the Meguairs 3-Step series or even Autoglym Super Resin Polish would be a better shout.

Blu-Tac has a completly different consistency to a clay bar. Even the 'mild' clay bars are completly different.

As above, far better polishes. I have it, but I only use it in a quick polish type thing.
