    yesterday evening whilst out spinning in north mayo i witnessed a kesterl or small hawk swoop down about 20feet in front of me and then rise having picked up a small animal possible a mouse or small bird from the ditch on the side of the road. it was one of the most amazing thinds i have ever seen.

    Funniest thing I ever saw was out on my mtb at the top of the rise were a couple hard at it porno style bent over a log. His pants were down but his baseball cap was still on!:eek:

    I just cyled by and when I got back to my car there was a note thanking me for my discression!!!!:D:D

    Though I have seen some nice wildlife as well!

    The amount of dead cats/dogs/hedgehogs I've seen probably add up to a triple-digit number.

    Only last week did I see a 10km trail of carrots on the left AND right hard shoulders!

    I thought taxi drivers, drive into most things they see - other cars, pedestrians, cyclists, each other (when there is a fare at stake!!):)

    Is this a Kilkenny thing? Encountered the same in the car park of Dunne's in KK on a Saturday night..oy vey, not a pretty sight.
