NRL coverage

Setanta cover 1 game mostly on saturday mornings, the odd game on friday mornings and they cover the footy show on thursday or friday nights, does anyone know of any web sites where it can be watched or if any of the australian TV channels that cover it can be viewed online?
Would really appreciate any help, cheers...

you know, I've been wondering about this as well.
I've looked into services such as http://watch-live-rugby.com and a few other similar services but have yet to find anyone who actually uses them and can say whether the quality is worth the spend.

At the moment I'm alternating between seeing a few games on Setanta or listening live on http://2gb.com when I can.

Really hacked off with setanta this year. I've only got the channel for NRL and last season they were showing at least two live games a weekend and sometimes 3....reckon if it doesn't improve I'll cut it...

I have been having a look on the net to see if i could find any sites that might have more NRL coverage and i came across http://www.nrl.aussiesport.tv/page/Latest you can sign up for 7.95 for a month or about 30 for the year or that way so i went about signing up but it wasnt the normal credit card details they were looking for it was a scanned form you had to fill in and it was your bank account details it was looking for so i reckon its dogey and didnt bother with it,

anyone come across this site before?

the aussiesport.tv site is where you're redirected from the official NRL site when trying to access archived games and highlights so I suppose it's legit.

you could I suppose use an Aussie proxy and watch them from the NRL site for free as used to be the case.

still and all, if you can only see them archived it's just as handy to grab the torrents from http://acrossthetasman.com

still in search of the real deal though

I really only have been watching the Footy Show this season (even with Laurie Daley wafting on incessantly). Watch the game replays Setanta show too. Hopefully as the season progresses they'll show more games.
Better show the Origin games though.
If Setanta didn't have that white elephant Golf channel they could probably afford to buy more NRL rights. Have they stopped showing 'NRL on Fox' broadcasts?

If they don't show the Origin series, well I shall be less than impressed! Totally agree with your assessment of Laurie Daly, nice use of the term 'wafting'. What is it about RL coverage and blustering twonks? Witness Sky's appalling Eddie and Stevo....

Really enjoying this morinigs game, can't believe how well the Titans are marshalling the Storm...Nice to see Matt Rogers having a good game...

Loz is one chippy fella if ever there was. As for Eddie and Stevo ("Champagne Rugby League Football" :rolleyes:), they're two of the reasons I can't watch SL.

Rogers is only back from injury so he seems to be raring to go. Hopefully the GC team play him where he wants to or else he'll bugger off in a sook and switch teams or codes again.

Do what I and virtually everyone else I know does where possible, get your self a digital radio or stick the laptop beside the TV and stick on the BBC radio coverage. It'll revolutionise your viewing experience!

Thank God we'll have two good games tomorrow on the Beeb without either of those colossal fecksticks blithering on inanely....
