ITV 2 on UPC DVR

    Hi is it possible to get ITV 2 on UPC DVR? i know with the sky boxes you can scan for it - can someone let me know?

    No, you can only get the stations UPC give you...

    I have found it odd that UTV is available yet they don't provide the other ITV channels. We have all the BBC channels for example.

    That's because UTV is run by UTV Media, wheras ITV 2,3, and 4 are run by ITV plc. Two completely seperate companies notwithstanding both being holders of Channel 3 licences.

    Its a rights Issue with ITV.

    You will notice there are no ITV channels on the Sky Ireland EPG either.

    ITV is facing big losses these days look it up they can not afford the rights to show stuff in Ireland.

    As regards UTV being on Irish cable that is a very old agreement and UTV carries a lot of Irish ads.
