Hey, have moved to cork two years ago and am still searching for a fab hairdresser, for cut and colour. I've been lookin on the net and there doesn't seem to be any places that enough people rave about! I don't mind spending a a lot of money, if its worth it! Thanks

Jeff Devine's on French Church Street are excellent.

I usually go to Tara for a cut and she is excellent. I'm not sure who is good for colour.

Leonard's in Douglas! Ask for Grace! I've been going to her for years and I've never once been disappointed with my hair! And I really, really love my hair lol.

Thanks girls! A girl in work suggested Ikon and Darcys but she hasn't been to either herself. I'm not looking for a sculped hairdresser look if you know what i mean, but something softer! I usually go in and let the hairdresser do whatever she wants, (she should know best!), but i'm not looking for a zebra stripey look! I've really thick hair too which needs to be thinned out reguraly but not to the point where im wondering where all my hair has gone, not into skinny poker straight hair!

Well, the women I recommended is utterly fantastic! I used to go to another girl at the salon, but I had Grace one day and never looked back!

She even taught me how to properly blow dry my hair, sort out my side fringe etc etc...she's fantastic with the basic advice. And, I used to be blonde, am now brunette and it's the most natural looking colour I've ever seen, if I do say so myself! None of my work buddies believe I was ever blonde! I 've ever needed to get the colour topped up once!

Jeff Devine in Wilton is my usual spot, I have been to a number of stylists, and all have been great- most notably Hadi (?sp), and Nicola. I went to Nicola the last time, and she was BRILLIANT. I will request her the next time I go! I kinda let the stylist go for it and do what they want. The last day nicola put in a fringe, and I have gotten SO many compliments, she is brill!! And its reasonably priced too!!!

Artisan in Douglas is excellent! I don't trust anyone else with my hair.

I've been to a few hair dressers over the years and Artisan is the only place i trust, they've got some good deals too. Really worth checking out. Extremely professional. I always get my hair done by Amera (sp?) in there, she's fantastic. She's the only hairdresser I know will actually take off an inch and no more if I ask for an inch to be taken off. Find a lot of hairdressers go scissors happy.

So i've booked an appointment for tomorrow in Jeff Devines with Nicola, looking forward to it! I'll let you know how I get on.
