    It's not entirely problem free though ... initial mounting of disks seems to take much longer now for some people (including me!), and there's a few complaints about subtitling (quality of fonts used) although I can't really comment on that.

    No difference in mounting my drives but it is a beta release
    This is a prerelease version of the firmware. Feel free to install it but be aware this is beta firmware so use it at your own risk. If you are not comfortable with this, please wait for the final version.

    Judging by the response on the net this pre-release firmware looks like its close to the finished product.

    It's certainly better than 1.02.00 .. video startup is now virtually instantaneous (used to have a delay of several seconds), and scanning my 500GB disk now takes much less time than before.
