Christ, these two don't like each other, do they? Word wrecks absolute havoc with Spaces. Document windows keep jumping into other spaces and then crashing the Dock/Spaces/Dashboard when I try to move them back. Very annoying when you're trying get work done.

Anyone else experienced this? Know of any fixes or workarounds?

I had never noticed this before as i don't really use office that much! Just tested it there and same problems as you are reporting!

Seems to be a known problem tho.

same problem every single day. I've never had a crash......just the annoyance of disappearing windows every so often and the formatting palette the odd time too!

just for kicks.....open up console and have a look at the recurring Word errors going on in the background while it's running. Such a poorly coded POS!

    *sigh*
Usual bulls**t from MS. So that means no fix.

I'm using office '07 (maybe '08???) and I hate the bloody thing, to be honest on the PC there are a fair few improvements but the mac version is TERRIBLE, macros aren't working in excel, the top bars are just weird, anyone else think this??

I'll test word and spaces when I get home!

Have you tried using OpenOffice instead?

    For most stuff should suffice.
