:)Hi i was just looking for some advice really. I have shoulder length brown hair (coloured chestnut brown with blonde highlights) but it's really fine. I just can't style it - no matter how much i try i can't get it to look like it has more volume. I have layers in it too, however the last time i went to my hairdresser she cut the layers way too short so it's even harder to make it look right, i'm thinking of going to someone else next time.

Also i got highlights from the root all the way down and i think they are a bit severe and too wide instead of being subtle. Ideally i would love hair like Eva Longoria (but that's not gonna happen!) - especially her colour - does anyone know what colour lights she has etc. Does anyone here have similar hair colour to her and could tell me what it is so i could tell the hairdresser the next time.

I basically just want subtle highlights/lowlights going through my hair, with layers that'll give it a bit of a kink and make it look fuller (maybe the kind of layering i have is wrong - well act i know it is wrong!). I'm not an expert on hair so sorry for rambling....

Any tips would be greatly appreciated cos it's so lank all the time (at least i think it is!)

    Thanks!:)
