hi folks am in the market for a netbook, was looking at the acer aspire 1 a150 which is grand, harvey N's were selling it at 329 but none in stock. tescos are selling it for €399!

i liked the look of the nc10 samsung, but its too expensive at 429..
they are selling at $ 488 usd in the states so not a huge saving..

i have an external battery Tekkeon 3450 that i will power it with on a long flight, to watch movies etc..so i want a netbook thats compatible with it.

unfortunately my vaio draws 4.7 amps at 19v, so the most usage i will get will be 3-4 hrs max..

where is the cheapest place that will have the aspire 1 in stock in a bricks and mortar shop? i was after the xp A150..

also what would they perform like if i copied the video_ts and audio_ts folders on to it, and opened them using media player..

    would it perform ok?

    cheers

    Hi,

Peats have the NC10 for 399 in stock also pc world have the advent 4213 with internal hsdpa for £299 up north i think. THe acer has CRAP battery life on the standard cell something like 2 hours. the 6 cell is an extra 50 or 60 not worth it imho
