I live in Cork City and I'm sick of football , its the constant organisation of players and bad weather , postponements and so on .Im looking for some sort of training to stay healthy I can do on my own without having to worry about who turns up or what the weather is like ? i.e boxing , kick boxing , thaiboxing . Anyone with details of adult beginners classes , times and cost would be appreciated .

There are 3 thai boxing gyms in cork. Martin horgans gym is in the city centre. Not really sure where the other two are (only know where Martins is 'cos I've fought there). Here's a link to the map on their website.

I think Anthony Corkery's MuayThai gym is in the city centre aswell, Seamus Coogan has a MuayThai gym in Ballincollig and Craig O Flynn has the Sitjaipetch MuayThai gym in Blackpool, PM Siamdragon for details about beginners classes, times and the cost about the Sitjaipetch gym.
