    Hi,
Just wondering if anyone on here has ever sat the above exam. I have 10+ years behind me and signed certs etc as required. All started from a FAS CAD course many many moons ago (DOS version).
If anyone has ever sat the exam and could shed some light on it for me I would be very grateful. Have past papers etc. but just need to know level of answers required. I understand there is a 40% pass required but if can do MUCH better, I seriously hope to. How to approach it, info expected from paper? practical exercise?, etc etc. Do RIAI hold tutorials prior to exam? Any info much appreciated.

    Thanks in advance

Sorry rayjdav, I cannot help you with that one. There don't seem to be anyone on this forum who have taken that option. Another option available to you in the CIAT POP record route, where your previous experience will form the basis of the record and your application.

rayjdav I believe there's a seminar coming up, and that past papers are available. I'll check it out again and let you know.

    Hi rayjdav,

I am due to sit the exam in June 2013. How did you get on with yours? And do you have any tips/advice on how to prepare for it?

Thanks in advance for any help

    RayDow
    PM sent.
I see in another thread you were advised to hold back in sitting this exam.
Personally, I say go for it. Especially if you are going to travel and have no formal papers.
A mate who sat it with me is now in Oz and is adament that he would not be in his well paying job there if not for this exam. He had no formal papers going out bar this.

You should consider joining CIAT, their POP record process is based on pracitcal experience, so if you have 10years plus you should be able to cover most of it fairly quickly.
