    Hi,
Just wondering could someone help me out. Basically i want to put a lump sum of about 2 or 3k into an account for my son. I won't be lodging every month and want the highest interest without any charges. Would i be better off with a credit union altogether? I have looked at moneyguide.com after reading another thread but i'm still none the wiser. Its all gobbledygook to me.
    Any help appreciated.
