Since last week, I have had an ever increasing amount of dandruff in my hair. I have not been using any different shampoo so I dont know why this is happening and it is grossing me out.......

What is the best for getting rid of dandruff apart from head and shooulders because that leaves my hair limp and flat against my head?

I also wonder would my hair being tied up all the time have something to do with it??

    Any advise greatly appreciated!

I had a problem with dandruff for many years. I couldn't figure out what was causing it and no shampoo seemed to help. Quite by chance I ended up using baby shampoo and I haven't had a problem with dandruff since. I started a thread on it last year here:

Hopefully this'll work for you too. While I haven't had any dandruff since I do have to wash my hair a little more often than with regular shampoo.
