Live in an area where TV3 is patchy and poor quality. My house does not get it.

As my main interest is in listening to the Vincent Brown show I do not need the pictures, and will not fork out for a Sky subscription.

A few years ago riding in a Dublin taxi, the driver had a scanner and was listening to the sound track of "Coronation Street" so just picking the sound up does seem possible.

What kind of scanner does this, and I presumably would need some kind of aerial.

    🧐IMHO, God wants us all to ENJOY many,many ice-creams , 🍦🍦🍦🍦🍦🍦🍦🍦🍦🍦🍦🍦

Yes, but if you can't pick up TV3 on UHF, you can't get the sound.

If you had an aerial good enough, a TV aerial, for the Scanner on UHF, then you would have TV3 on TV :)

Any Scanner with 470MHz to 862MHz band and FM.

The video makes a Buzz and then 6Mhz higher you get the sound.
