Diuretic causing hangover?

    Seeing as a hangover is caused by dehydration, if someone were to drink enough of a diruretic could they cause a hangover?

    I suppose so - but the effect of alcohol is not just dehydration - you are also carrying around the breakdown products such as ethanal which also make you feel awful.
