    Hi there...

    I've been playing Bass for about 20 years now, but it's been just over a year since I was last in a band, and I'm looking to get back into it.

    Just a couple of quick questions for you. Firstly, I'm assuming that by City Centre you mean Dublin? What age group are the band ( I'm 35 )? Are you gigging much at the moment and looking to replace a Bass Player, or are you just starting up?

    Hello J, thanks you for your interest.
    To answering your questions, yes, we are based in the city centre.
    The age group of the band ranges from 27-33
    We are currently looking to replace a bass player, gigs are in the pipeline.

    A few questions in relation to our ad, have you backing vocals to accompany your bass wizardry ??
    And secondly, do you have your own means of transport ?

    Hi there. Sorry for the delay in replying!

    Yep, I have all my own gear and transport and can do backing vocals too.

    The only problem is I won't really have time to devote to this til early July, I've other commitments keeping me busy at the moment. Hence my question if you were just starting up or were looking to replace a current bassist.

    I assume you're going to want to get something sorted before July, but if you're still stuck then, let me know!

    Hi,
    I'm a 28 year old bass player based in Wicklow. I left a cover band around 6 months ago due to lack of committment of other members. Recently made unemployed and seriously looking to get back into music not only for the love of playing but also for the johnny cash!!
    I have all my own very professional equipment and my own transport. I also sang backing vocals in my previous band. Travelling to dublin for practice / gigs is not a problem for me.
