keyboard doing the opposite?

    hi
    nephew was messing with computer now when i type with caps lock on i get small letters and when its off i get caps also cant type numbers for one i get ! two " ect:confused: ???????????

    Sounds like your shift key is stuck down or something. Try banging it a few times to see if it'll release. Remember, there are two: one on the left (below caps lock), one on the right (below return).

    try unistalling the driver in device manager - click my computer/properties/hardware/device manager/ then expand keyboards. Double click on keyboard entry, select driver click uninstall then reboot keyboard will reinstall hopefully this will fix it

    Sounds like he might have turned on 'sticky keys' by hitting shift 5 times.
    Check Control Panel > Accessibility Options in XP or this for vista.
