    Ok,
It has so many faults but everybody must have something they like about it.

Good train service (reliability, regularity, and price) to the city center.

Reliable and pleasant water supply from Bog of The Ring, nothing wrong with a bit of hardness ;)

would never disagree with that sentiment - in many areas of life! :P

(although when you think about it, drinking water from the 'bog o' the ring' doesn't sound very appealling! lol the mental images it conjures up are wrong! :))

    Grew up there

View from the hill of clonard

ready access to some beautiful countryside

lovely harbour and beaches and cliffs combination

    good amenities

LOTS of clubs and societies for people to join

Good sense of community, at least in most parts of the town

Always meet someone you know walking around the town, it still has that small town feeling.

    close to ardgillan

access to the north is so handy

relatively safe when compared to towns of similiar size

lovely coastal road to skerries, the view off barnagheera on a summers day is spectacular

    cinema

so many italian / pizza takeaways

    plenty of shops

    the harvest :D

    Mc Cormacks lounge :D

O Sheas on a summer evening

    Harvies

Back beach and the walk to Gormanston beach

Frank Carson wrote a song about the town!

    Oh Balbriggan,
    Lovely Balbriggan,
    Jewel by the sea,
    Oh I could be hummin',
    But id rather be comin',
    to Balbriggan by the sea!

John waynes long-johns (pink underwear you see him wearing in cowboy movies) used to be made in Balbriggan and werr called Balbrigganers (still are in some parts of the world too).

I could go on, but ill let someone else take up the torch!

    :D:D:D
