I have a "Swiss Arms Black Eagle M6". It is not the version that looks like a Steyr SSG. It looks like a VSR G-SPec clone. It is just on the joule so I won't need a spring upgrade but I am looking to quieten it ( possiby with a silencer - this would be difficult as the gun doesn't have threads ). I would also like to increase it's accuracy and/or range. Bought it from a retailer I shouldn't name for E70. Mags are identical to VSR mags. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Looks like a clone vsr so you could proberbly upgrage it with vsr parts but I can't be certain.

There are plenty of things you can do yourself to quieten it, like stuffing cloths (or any such material) between the outer and inner barrel. This will work in the silencer too. I think there is a part in the cylinder you can remove so the bolt doesn't make the 'click' sound.

Great idea for stuffing cloth between the barrels! Thanks!

Depending on how much room inside the gun, you may be able to use Dynamat. Dynamat is used in cars to contain sound and improve acoustics. I bought a pack of Dynamat Extreme (http://cgi.ebay.ie/Dynamat-Sound-Deadening-Xtreme-Speaker-Kit-4-car-audio_W0QQitemZ290304956271QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_3?hash=item290304956271&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1301|66%3A2|65%3A12|39%3A1|240%3A1318). I used 1 of the two sheets that come in the pack inside my Aug. While it doesn't completely silence the gearbox, it does change the pitch of the sound so it wont travel as far. I applied it around the magwell, as it also makes the abs seem more solid. Much more satisfying inserting mags now.

I don't know how it will work for your rifle, but its a common mod for Aug's and P90's.

Edit:- There are other sound deadening products, Dynamat is just the most well known.

Pornstar! good find ive been looking for that stuff for ages, Was insanely priced anywere i found it but thats a nice price.
Only problem is ive filled my Aug with some cheap sound deadening stuff already and didnt achieve the results i was hoping for. Dynamat should be much better.

I was charged £8.50 GBP for shipping. It cost me €18.45 EUR in total.

To be honest, it didn't make as big a difference as I hoped it would. But it definitely drowns out the whine of the gears significantly. Especially seeing as there is enough room either side of where the gears lie, to apply 3-4 layers of the stuff. The thud of the piston head pretty much remains unaffected.

I have looked it up a bit more and it turns out that it can take VSR compatible parts :). If anyone has had a BAR 10 or TM VSR upgraded any ideas for what parts to get for it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

ha nice i have the exact same gun. Have it nearly a year now. It is consistently accurate with .28's up to like 80ft. I was ranging the scope just an hour ago. You get a severe loss of velocity as compared with .2's but if its accuracy your looking for then its worth it!
