    Can anyone reccomend both a VOIP service and also a decent handset for am IMAC. Not sure f it makes much difference but Magnet are my BB provides.

    Hi,

    Futiro does a good USB handset that is compatible with Mac :

    Otherwise, if you are looking for a softphone, Zoiper has a good mac version.

    Regarding the VoIP service, I've been with blueface ( http://www.blueface.ie ) for years and I'm perfectly happy.
