New build - inside ready for painting?

    Hi all,
The floor screed has gone down on the new house a couple of weeks ago, and I was wondering - is it ok to start painting interior walls and ceilings now?
I'm conscious of the drying out time needed for the floor & amount of moisture-laden air that will be in the house - but would this affect the primer paint job on the walls & ceiling?

The walls/ceiling themselves have been plastered for some months now..

    Thanks for the advice

You could hire a couple of dehumidifiers from a tool hire shop. That would dry the place out in a day or so.
