have the oddest of questions?(as i always do.) wondering if there is a place online where i can listen into the contact towers at dublin. you know, like a cb radio or something?

i had a website something like that before. i know it was a recording, as i picked a stange airport i knew in america(akron/canton airport, ohio CAK) and tracked in and out flights, and seemed to be correct. can some one dig one up for dublin?

    god, thank you!

couldnt remember the name of the site, knew it had something to do with communication technology in an aircraft!

thanks guys, really enjoy listening to this.

but something you really dont want hear(which i have actually recorded) is, "my fls is malfunctioning, is there anyway when i get down to get it repaired?" didnt catch another one but did hear some female pilot, quoting that something has "snapped" in her cockpit and is requesting mechanics be on ground await repairs.

Probably a company frequency- speaking to handling agent on the ground

Most likely was FMS also (flight management system)

Sorry, just on a side note, as a question.

These are being picked up by RF Scanners right, which are just being fed to a computer, yes? Or am I completely wrong?

Also, what does Irish law say about such scanners? Are they legal? Illegal? Boundaries?

    Many thanks.:D

to my knowledge they are not illegal, once the scanner you use is not going to interfere with the aircraft, or emergency services communications. could be wrong

I woudlnt wave one at a garda or walk around the airport terminal with one on though :)

AFAIK they're legal-ish, lots of people have them but I wouldnt get caught with any police frequencies programmed.

Maritime and Airband is perfectly legal, emergency services, noooo! But anyway the police use phones for anything important you won't find anything good on your radio.
