I T V 1 is to revert to hard scrambling.I.T.V 2&3 are to merge& scramble before the autumn.I.T.V 4&Men and Moters are to close within weeks.Channel five is also to close on sunday the 5th.

That isn't even interesting but the following news report on Sky's website this morning is:

"SKY believes in listening to its customers so from today, SKY will charge ROI customers the equivalent sterling prices for each of our great packages. This will mean that our loyal Irish customers will now receive our terrific programming at an even lower price in line with SKY's commitment to maintaining competitive pricing structures"
