First legal action is threatened if a certain leader of the country is discussed, and now UCD threaten legal action unless said forum is removed. What next?
Legal action for having a laugh in AH?
No discussion of Premier League teams in Soccer?
(before anybody points it out, I do take the point that it is a privately run company and is in the best interests of the moderators to act on the legal advice they receive)
(and that both could be April Fools)

Due to a letter received by boards.ie two days ago, we have been instructed by the Admins and SMODS that discussion of Brian Cowen My Mother on Boards.ie politics forum after hours forum is not allowed.

Any thread, post or reference to Brian Cowen My Mother will be deleted immediately and the user perm banned from politics after hours.

I'm not particularly happy about this, but for the moment these are the guidelines for discussion in the politics forum after hours forum.

April Fools day, I suppose, with regards to cowan.

I still find it hard to believe that you really can't slag off soccer players in the soccer forum, or curse in the poxy "Rant" forum though....
