The biggest event of Cricket is starting on 18th April in Capetown. For some security reasons IPL had to move out of INDIA. Would you be supporting any the Clubs ?? Do you think moving it out of INDIA will make any effect on its populatiry ??

That's VERY much a matter of opinion. For me it's an interesting diversion, nothing more. The World Cup Qualifier is much more important.

Nope - people who want to watch will watch it, wherever it's held.

I'd have no club (actually they're franchises, a crucial difference) loyalty, but will watch the odd bit for entertainment.

Thats true. Well this leauge is not restricted to the Indians players atall. Cricketrs all over the world are getting paid so much money just for 6 weeks play. Its just redicilous or Is that Recession :-) ??

I'm not one for speuclating how the player auctions work and how much money they get paid, but you would have to assume that you wouldnt get paid unless you played. So Pietersen and Flintoff, if they can only fulfill 1/3 of the fixtures they would only see 1/3 of the pay packet?

I also think that they were both way over priced, there are much better 20/20 players then those two who were going for a fraction of the price.

Oh yes they were overpriced for sure.. and i am reckoning its only because IPL promoters wanted to get more viewereship for UK and ireland. By doing this they have already attracted lot of people. After all Its all a game of money
