Sea Swim race for ES Dublin

    Just put this up for anybody intrested

    A Sea Swim is being organised by Howth Coast Guard for the Emergency Services in North Dublin; it will take place on Saturday July 11th at 2pm. Confirmed teams so far are Airport Police & Fire Service, An Garda Síochána, Beaumont Hospital A&E, Dublin Fire Brigade and Irish Coast Guard.
    The Swim is a 1,500 metres Sea Swim along the outside of the East pier in Howth finishing at Balscadden Beach, wetsuits are allowed and highly recommended! Kindly donated by Dublin Fire Brigade Sports and Social Committee there will be perpetual trophies for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place.
    The swim is being run thanks to the assistance of Clontarf Swimming Club and is open to both male and female members of the emergency services. There will be a charity collection on the day for the R.N.L.I.
