Freehubs

Just when I thought I'd got over all the compatibility issues possible on a bike there's one more...

The freehub on my Tricross has worn very badly on the splines so I need to replace it.

I basically need this: http://www.mcconveycycles.com/store/product/9967/SPECIALIZED-ROVAL-FREEHUB-BODY-SHIMANO/ and I bought the last one they had to find that it doesn't fit (as they sent me a 15mm rather than a 12mm).

I'm wondering if anyone knows what other makes of freehubs are going to work. I'm clear that the cassette side fitting needs to be 10 speed but I'm unsure if the 3 tooth fitting into the wheel hub itself is a standard or proprietary to Roval.

There are a couple on chain reaction and wiggle that look similar but this could be a long process if I'm not ordering quite the right thing.

Cycleways claim they can get me one for €60 but given that is double the price in pounds I'm a bit hesitant. If I'm going to spend €60 on a small part for a set of pretty cheap ass wheels I may as well just upgrade.

Anyway, I guess the short question here is: Is there a name for that 3 sprung tooth fitting to make this all easier?

    thanks

They're called pawls. They're not standard - they'll be particular to a certain hub or brand. I think DT-Swiss make the Roval hubs so you may get one of their freehub bodies to fit.
