Went out on a nice spin this morning with a few others as I am working evenings this week approx 80 kms with a nice tea stop, even got a bit of sunburn on my cheeks, it was a glorius morning.......................Then I went to work, for 3pm and by 3:15 pm we were told that our company was ceasing all operations by mid 2011, naturally they let us go home for the rest of the day.

This recession is going to get a hell of a lot worse before it gets better, thankfully ours wasnt an immediate closure, but was big enough to make six one news, what we dont hear is the couple here, 5 there, 7 elsewhere losing thier jobs everyday due to small business' folding, or cutbacks etc.

Anyway the spin was really nice this morning:D, you have to remain upbeat.;)

Sorry to hear that, but that still is a long time away. Enough time to make plans I mean.

Very sorry to hear that. For what its worth unemployment actually fell this month and the chances of finding something in the next 12 months should be quite good.
Was it the one in Bray ?

I reckon that you should get a bike through the scheme, mid 2011 is a bit away yet, def give it a go.

That way if the worst come to the worst you'll have a good bike to pass away your time
