Guitarist Needed For Galway Band

Our band consists of a singer/guitarist, a bassplayer and a drummer. We are all in our mid twenties. Our music is similar to U2, Kings of Leon, Delorentos etc. We have alot music in the pipeline with around 8 songs ready for gigging.

We are looking for a very good guitarist who knows alot about guitar sound (pedals etc) and someone who can contribute creatively. We would need to hear samples of what you have written to see if it would suit our style and then we can show you what we have done and hopefully go from there.

We are all serious about taking this somewhere and believe we can make a real go of it simply because our music is good enough and at the end of the day thats all that matters. Cheers!

Have you got any demo recordings that people could hear?

 Why wouldn't you want people to hear your music? You're trying to sell your band's music to prospective guitarists, not the music of U2 or Kings of Leon or whoever.

Don't be worried about sound quality. People won't (or shouldn't) be expecting crystal clear audio from a band just starting out. The last couple of bands I was in recorded demos on a single mic running to a laptop in a rehearsal room.

It should be a 2 way street in terms of you showing potential guitarists the goods while wanting to hear their work.
    Myspace or GTFO :D:pac:

Malice has a point. Let us hear some of your stuff. Even if it's a 60-90 second rough and ready demo.

I'm not really in the market to play guitar, but if you ever find yourselves in need of a vocalist, I'd be very interested.

Also... say thanks for the free bump :D
