What one shot would you like to be able to do all the time when situation arose?

Would it be being able hit it 300 yards off tee everytime
or even being able to hole those 6 foot putts without fail.

it can be anything there just examples

for me its being able to play a chip shot-semi pitch shot from say 25 yards the ones where you see the pros play it aggressive and able to pitch it ball bounces once or twice and all sudden stops stone dead next to the hole with so much backspin its shot I love to be able to play and one I'm trying to acheive this summer and hopefully with good results just think it looks class..

I'd love to be able to get the ball to within 6 feet all the time from 50 yards or closer.

I think the 300-yard dead straight every time thing would be awesome!

I'll have some of that too!

Well I'd even be happy with 6 foot from 20 yards.......from 50 yards in is the main difference between an ok golfer and a very good one.

If I could get up & down even about 60% of the time it would knock about 6-8 shots off my handicap.

I piss away most of my shots from about 5 yards [and inside] off the green, only getting up and down about once a round on average.

If I could hole every putt 6ft or under I would be delighted with that! That would save some serious shots off my game.

My short putting is very strong lately (sure fire way to hex it) but it used to be crapola.
I'd like distance control please if anyone is handing out some... from 50 yards I'm not going to be wide by too much but could quite easily be 15 yards long or short :(

But if you wanted the real shot I'd love to have it's the "Not the full monty but straight into play every time" shot.

I would like the Iron+wedge Play I had yesterday (Driving and long woods were a nightmare) & My Driving from today.

I would easily get around a course in 20 shots less each time then. :D

Its my pitching that needs to be improved so thats why i needed to work on that this summer and why i like maybe to acheive the goal of being able to control the spin etc..I would have said straight down the middle this time last year..also going try work on shaping the ball for pins and trouble shots etc...

but its short game where think the big scores can be cut off..my putting is solid enough very rarely 3 putt and from 6 foot its 9/10

The ability to knock it within 6 feet of the pin from any greenside bunker.

I'm a relatively short hitter off the tee (220-230) so the ability to hit a 270-300 yard screamer straight down the middle would be sweet

a 220-230 clean connection and dead straight with the 3 wood off the deck every time would be nice imo.

Yeah but in fairness, how often would you have to use that? Like, once per round maybe?

I'd also like the ability to actually hit the little tractor at the driving range. Damn thing keeps moving!!

    A shot I do have...
In general, a very high trajectory with irons, in a good way that doesn't cost distance, which gives me a big advantage on summer greens, especially on long courses.

    A shot I don't have but want...
A full shot with short wedges. I rarely hit a full SW or LW, usually taking an extra club and hitting a 3/4 shot. I figure it might be cos I'm tall and they are short clubs still, I'd like to be able to play an aggressive spinning shot more often than I do.

For me it would be the stinger tee shot that tiger hits from time to time against the wind or on a tight driving hole.

Just do what I do, Graemo - aim away from it and you'll probably hit it! :D

A solid stroke on the six footers.

The left wrist tends to melt at times. In terms of shot shape, I tend to hit bleeders. Aim just left of center and work the ball back. Used to hit power draws, good for an extra 10 yards with the boomer, however the apporach shots would not stick, especially on summer greens.
