They will on April 18th ! One time deal, offer must expire !

No seriously, this one is a fundraiser so we will all be on our absolute best behaviour. If anyone wants to be a hero and feels like turning on the power they can go to the back and push a straggler up a hill ! That will burst their balloons for sure. The 50km in particular will go off at walking pace from what I hear. I guess it all depends who turns up. There is a race on the next day anyway, so it would have been a very light paced stroll anyway, most of us will also have had the good extracted out of us the weekend before anyway with RAS Mumhan and Gorey both races with 4 stages. So it will be nice and handy, more of a social really, an opportunity for a chat..

This WILL be a leisurely spin. If riders want to be racers on the day, fine ride away. It'll will no doubt say alot about you, not taking weaker riders into consideration on a FUN & LEISURELY spin. Ride along and we'll get along!! :D

Thought that was a very decent post, Shapez... and then I read your signature.

I was down in Waterford two weeks ago and ended up going out along the Copper Coast on the Sunday. It's a lovely part of the world and I remember thinking it would be great for a spin.

Is there any chance that I can do the second half of the 100km spin as I really don't think that Galways hill, Annestown and Killmurrin cove can be called relaxed. Also can you have some CPR people at the top of each:D:D

It's a quote that I found interesting. It by no means reflects on how I feel about leisure cycling. I am myself a leisure cyclist, I don't race at all.

@Colm - Of course you can, I can give you a lift till we get past Bunmahon!! :D

Hi Pat, I got a Focus Cayo, some difference from the hybrid. Takes a bit of getting used to.

Hey - have a Cayo myself ('08 model). It's my first road bike and I absolutely love it. you based around Waterford? I think I have seen one other one around recently, but the puffing and panting prevented me from paying too much attention!!

Since you are also from Waterford, are you coming out on the Sportif Waterford spin this weekend?

Hi guys - heading for Dublin in the morning to see Cirque de Soleil and go to a friends 30th, so I'll miss the Sportif tomorrow. Would have been at the Waterford Duathlon if I were here, so it seems I was destined to miss the inaugural spin!

Will make it out next weekend though, with a few friends in tow. Lots of friends after taking up cycling recently and they are all crying out for a club like this.
