    i couldnt give a sh*t what you do to be honest. most of us have a 4 day holiday coming up next week anyway and while your stuck inside work (thats if you have a job when you come back) in the summer, most of us will be off somewhere else and your nuts will be numb from the sh*te summer weather in ireland.

    Nah! I'm off for a week in the sun next week, have a 3 week trip planned for September and am going away for two long weekend breaks in between! FCUK YOU RECESSION! :D

    Nope, while I'm working, at least I know I still have one (a job).

    The problem with taking too long a break is that you may not be terribly missed from a work point of view. Then the boss gets to thinking, "what the fcuk does this guy do for me anyway?"

    This'd more likely be the case with a smaller company. It's much easier to slip between the cracks in larger companies in my experience. (Civil service comes to mind... sorry :o)
