Quick question...Whats the difference between E2C/Jobs+ Linux+ Certification (JK0-011), and XK0-002 CompTIA Linux+ Exam...Want to book Linux+ exam asap, just wondering about this as saw all choices on www.vue.com

If your looking to book the "linux+" exam then its the CompTIA Linux+ Exam your looking for.

Other than that check these out:

Thanks for the reply..I have had some linux exposure in recent places where I have been..Just wanted to get some kind of cert in it as have some time on my hands due to downturn etc...Linux+ is €260 odd to do, very expensive exam compared to other Comptia exams I have done..

This is something I've been looking at lately too.
To be honest I'd consider (which I am at the moment) RHCT or Sun Solaris certs to be better because they are more specialized.

Some people may have different opinions on this.
    Check out RHCT here:
    https://www.redhat.com/certification/rhct/
    Solaris Cert here:
    http://www.sun.com/training/certification/solaris/index.xml

Its not rocket science either... which always helps :)

Cheers, was thinking would probably go for Linux+ at the moment as have used Debian, Open Suse etc..Think it could be better to go that way before specialising...(Not sure myself TBH)

Linux+ would be a good starting point, it is vendor-neutral. One thing though is that I found that CompTia exams can be pretty tricky, with some strange questions, but you should learn alot from the course.

RHCT is something I want too get into myself, looks very interesting.

    Good luck with it.
