Paul Hyland V Rendall Munroe?

Now that Paul Hyland's European shot against Ian Napa is gone out the window, what are the chances of him moving back up to super bantamweight and getting a crack at Munroe's European title (or indeed whoever has the title in a few months time)?
There was talk of Hyland V Munroe a while back but Hyland said after the Heagney fight that he was not willing to wait for it so moved down to bantam with the plan being to fight Napa.
How would Hyland fare against Munroe, Maludrottu, or any of the top 10 European super bantamweights?

I reckon Paulie could hold his own in the weight division at the moment, and i reckon the fight could happen because peters is just going to mess around with team maloney/munroe with this WBA title,
and while the banter goes back and forward munroe will still have to keep himself busy and maybe a fight with paulie would be what he needs to keep active. IMO
Imagine what kinda night it would be to have Eddie Hyland & Paulie Hyland both fighting for european titles on the same night, and in dublin too aswell as sutherland on the show and a fight for Patrick Hyland and Gary 'spike' o sullivan with a few others too,
id be first to get my ringside ticket for that!!!

Is Paul planning on staying at super bantam?

Paulie dropped to Bantam as he would be waiting too long to get up the ladder in super-bantam, now dunne aint interested in the europen scene, Paulie could slot in nicely, i know alot of people here will say paulie aint in munroe`s league but i reckon he could give munroe a good run for his money if he got the chance against him,

Considering Munroe is not a big puncher and overrated in my opinion, and the fact that Paul would have the edge skills wise, I would also give him a good chance here.
It is Munroe's size that may pose some problems for Paul but it would be a competitive fight for sure.

Any news on the next opponent for Paul, I think he should be looking at guys like Matthew Marsh, Mark Moran and Rocky Dean.

Nothing yet im afraid, but as soon as i hear anything ill post it up,
Paul has a few different avenues he can go down, like chasing the guy who beat Napa, move back to super-bantam and chase munroe or stay at domestic level for a while, but i honeslty dont know what they will come up with

I know, what a joke! Thinking about it a bit more, I would be interested to see how Paul would do against some of Dunne and Munroe's former opposition, like Walstad, Trotta, or even Jailouv. These are all guys I think Paul could beat and they would be good fights to see where he fits among the likes of Dunne and Munroe at this stage of his career.

Surely it would have made more sense for Maloney to bring Munroe to Dublin to fight Paul Hyland in a European title defence (instead of the joke Commonwealth title fight he's now in) rather than bringing a barely pronounceable Belorussian to Dublin to fight Eddie for the European super featherweight title.

An Ireland V England title fight would surely have sold better rather than Eddie's fight. Best of luck to Eddie but it's hard to see how he can win this one whereas Paul would have been in with a better chance with Munroe (although I'd tip Munroe to stop him late on after a good start from Paul).

Paul would be too much of a risk for Munroe if Munroe's next opponent is anything to go by, I could see Paul outpointing Munroe tbh. I do not rate Munroe at all and it looks like Maloney dosen't either based on the crappy opposition he is matching him with.

Paulie can make Bantamweight(possibly even Super-Flyweight) so should stay there and try and improve and gain experience before he tries to get a fight with the European champion Bouziane.

The Frenchman isn't a puncher but he is quite skilled and right now I don't think Paulie's ready.

A fight with Colin Moffett next for the Irish title and then a fight with a decent European level journeyman along the lines of Andrey Kostin would be a good idea.

Then stick him in with someone like Salvini(if he's succesful in winning the Italian title) and if Hyland wins all those finally go for the Frenchman.

Paulie's not too old, he still requires a bit of seasoning and should operate at his proper fighting weight(about Bantamweight) more often.

He needs to be kept active aswell. A fight with Munroe is a bad idea imo, Munroe's a very big Super-Bantamweight and has shown in his European title defences that he can just use his massive size and strength to outdo his smaller foes. Yes Paulie would be slicker than most of them, but he still has kinks to work out first and if he can make Bantamweight(which he can) he may aswell do it there where it will probably be easier to be successful.
