This may be stupid question but is there anyway of changing km to empty tank to km/gallon or km/litre Its been wrecking my head Any help appreciated

I don't think you can get what you are looking for unless you have the trip computer on your car. My own '03 A4 gives me the same as you i.e. the kms left before the tank is empty. My wife's has the trip computer that will give the mpg etc..
