As unmistakable as he is irrepressible the man born Robert Ferguson has etched his name into Irish Dance folklore with consummateease. Achameleonof sorts, he has successfully navigated his way through various styles of music, always staying relevant and constantly on the forefront of new trends and sounds. With his excellent label Excentric and a growing family of contributors including Bedrock artist Alan Fitzpatrick and Reset Robot(Dave Robertson) it is at this point in his career that Fergie feels most at ease with the ever changing landscape that is the Techno sound.
Not many djs can lay claim to having their club debut at a tender 14 years of age, but the ambitious young Fergie did just that. By the age of 16, Fergie had infiltrated and exhausted Ireland's club scene and set his sights across the water. Fergie arrived in the UK and was soon introduced to the late and great Tony De Vit whom became a friend and mentor and he remains to this day as one of Fergie's most inspirational influences.
Before long Fergie was making a name for himself with the UKs clubbers in renowned nights such as 'Trade' and 'Sundissential' and proving just why there was such a hype surrounding his arrival. It didn't take long for Fergie to become one of the most talked about and in demand DJs in the UK, with a profile that was escalating at a meteoric rate.Fergie's style was born through the harder hitting styles of house music, and through the past five years, his style has evolved to encompass a much wider appreciation and exploration of dance genres, with a current style closest resembling 'techno fuelled' beats.
With his Excentric label being named al label of the year by Carl Cox and his productions are sought after home and abroad with such hits as "Anon" and "For The Wee Small Hours" EP.It had Danny Howells insisting "Fergie never sleeps, hes always knocking out bombs" and Pig&Dan remarking "Fergie is just kicking ass all the way".There has been a steady stream of remixes including a rework of Umek's "Gatex",efforts for Christian Smiths and top label Great Stuff aswell as being asked to contribute to James Lavelles world renowned UNKLE project.
None of this diminishes his presence behind the decks in fact it enhances it as demonstrated by in Italy,Slovenia,Kiev,Munich,Brazil,Israel and of course Ibiza where he celebrated a decade of Ibiza madness by playing at Meganite. All will be treated to his constantly morphing, forward thinking sound honed on years of infiltrating the more underground genres from house through to techno and creating a vibe driven by melody and groove. Fergie has become a master of evolving his sound, constantly developing and never standing still. For Fergie......... this is a way of life.

Support on the night comes from Filthy Friction Residents Feno(Nice & Nasty Records) and Fionn Prendergast.
