bad mechanic???

    got a 96 astra ,11000 miles ago got head skimmed, new gasket, oil filter ,oil change new plugs and points etc now I have creamy gunk in engine, think gasket is gone again do I have any comebacks with guy who done it or not?:(

    Any other symptoms? Is it overheating, or loosing coolant? If not, and you normally just do short trips, I'd take it for a good long blast on the motorway about once a week. Get it up to around 70 MPH or more (don't speed though!). AFAIK that helps to keep the oil clean. Of course you should be changing the oil & filter regularly too - I think every 5-10K miles should do it.
