Basically my signal has gotten terrible in the past few days here in Limerick. We recenty switched tv's so i'm pretty sure something must have been put out of place but i have tightened all the connecters and the signal still says TOO LOW. Can anyone help?

The Woodcock hill Analogue has always been only 100W. It should be 2KW to 20kW.

In fact the new DTT signal *IS* 10KW (100 times more), so the Automatic RF gain on the TV is turning down and making the Analogue signal too weak.

Un-intuitively the way to improve the weak signal is to try a 6dB or 12dB attenuator at the back of TV or infront of any mast preamp.

Any preamp or amplified aerial will overload

And this is for digital cable right? I always had a strong signal until recently.

Not cable TV - terrestrial tv in digital format transmitted from the same location as analogue tv.
