Could we be doing more to help the property developers?

It seems to me that the one group who are being overlooked in all this fiscal carnage, is the property developers. If nobody's buying property, then the developers have nothing to develop, and there is a very human tragedy within: yachts that can't now be furnished with bowling alleys; three family holidays a year instead of four; scaling back of emu farm out the back garden; Ferrero Roche pyramids with the top one missing.

It pains me to think of these noble magnates' suffering. Last week I collected 832 euro in Grafton Street for donation to the poor bank executives who are coming under pressure to return their hard-earned bonuses. I'm thinking of having a similar whip-around for the property developers this week, so if you see me, please donate. And please, make it a note. Coins aren't worth a w*nk.
