I've seen that a few times with all sorts of cars and especialy with phone chargers. If the adaptor that fits into the powerpoint is of poor quality it will just keep blowing the fuse. Dont use after market chargers at all. Always use the one supplied with the product. (although even then sometimes they are not up to scratch )

there's a white plastic applicator for removing and fitting fuses in the fuse box under the bonnet.

The inline fuse in your sat nav has fallen out and shorted out your cigarette lighter and blew its fuse, the fuse that fell out of the cigarette lighter was the fuse out of your sat-nav.

Hi, It's my car that my brother was talking about.
So what do i have to do to get my radio etc back up and running-will i have to go to a garage?

You have blown a fuse that's all. The fuse board in your car is behind the glove compartment iirc.

Drop into a garage and I'm sure they'll replace it on the spot for a small fee.
