What are your favourite editing tools?

Which ones would recommend everyone learn how to use? For me (and im no expert) i love the crop tool and clone tool. I think cropping an image can do more for it than anything else. The clone tool can help get rid of distracting areas in a photo. Anyone have any other favorite tools or plugins that they feel are essential?

Adjustment layers, masks and the brush tool are the main winners for me!!
