OK...I really hope you guys can help me!!

Basically, borrowed a Dorothy Perkins long red cardigan from a friend a couple weeks back, I haven't seen her since then as she's been on holiday. I just found out that my sister 'borrowed' it herself (i.e. without asking me) by taking it from my bedroom. She then wore it out last night and lost it because she got so drunk . My friend is coming back to Dublin in a couple days and I'm freaking, she rarely lets me borrow her things and this incident won't be changing that any time soon!

I wanted to replace the cardigan without telling her, so I checked the website and it's not selling there anymore, even though it was onsale there a month ago (it's where my friend bought it in the first place!!). Is it likely that it won't be selling instore anymore now either? Is it worth my time asking an assistant if they keep old stock? Oh, and is the Jervis centre the only DP shop in Dublin?

Or should I just accept that I'm gonna be fooked when my friend finds out, and offer to pay her back?

Sorry for length of post but I'm desperate!! Any help appreciated. Cheers. (And yes, I expect my sister to pay me back for it- she's jobless and in 5th year so can't afford it herself at the mo!)

Not familiar with the cardigan but I was looking for you, i can only see the red drawstring one on their site, thats not it - no?

Just realised thats a short cardigan, though it looks longish to me

    Have you tried DorothyPerkins.com?
There's a DP shop in Blanchardstown Shopping Centre and Liffey Valley.
    Good luck!

    Hey
Good luck with finding the replacement. DPs used to be in Debenhams on Henry St too (the old roches not sure if they left though with the take over).
Ask in the stores anyway- they might ring around & find it for you in another store too. Don't worry its not online still- they would come direct from the warehouse so if they are out in the warehouse they would take them off the site but that wouldn't mean they have actually sold out in the stores.
Also if your stuck try Zara or Topshop for long cardis- they do have them in red & if you can't get the original at least you will have replaced it for your friend & I'm sure she won't mind!

Hi there, I work in DP and have that cardi and its long gone. I would recommend trying New look though as they have really similar ones in at the moment. Topshop have good ones too so it might be worth a look!

Perhaps have a root around ebay and see if anyone's selling it on there?
